KBA Sports, Inc., is a statewide leader in providing exercise and fitness opportunities to youth and adults. Since 2001, athletes from Lexington and across the United States have trained, competed and chased their dreams at KBA Sports. The KBA Sports team is expanding its programs to provide more opportunities for athletes to take their skills and game to the highest level.

KBA Sports is headquartered in the Kentucky Basketball Academy (KBA), a state of the art 58,000 square foot facility with five hardwood courts and three multi-sport training areas under one roof. Located in the heart of Lexington, Kentucky approximately ¼ mile from the state's largest shopping complex, Fayette Mall, KBA Sports is the perfect place for training, competition and events. The facility is the perfect place for training, competing and having fun playing basketball. Many current and past professional basketball players have played at KBA. During certain times of the year, players as young as three years old might be training one court away from current NBA players. Wherever you are in the game of basketball, youth, college, recreational or professional, KBA Sports has an activity or program to fit your needs and interest.

Jared Prickett, a former University of Kentucky Wildcat, serves as CEO of KBA Sports, Inc. While in high school, Jared attended the elite camps and played on National traveling teams. He played at the University of Kentucky from 1992-1997. His team, known as the “Untouchables” went to the final four three times, winning the NCAA National championship in 1996.

Jared played professional basketball in Europe and South America. From his experiences Jared knows it takes not only the best athletes to win a championship but also the most fundamentally developed athletes.

His goal is to provide a focused, structured learning environment while instilling passion, work ethic, and skill to Central Kentucky basketball players. He also hopes to instill sportsmanship, a sense of community and family into the areas young citizens.

The KBA Sports management team also includes a number of other professional with a wide-range of high school, collegiate and professional sports experience.
